Cookies n’ Beans is a Swedish country trio, it consist three female singers/guitarists/harmonica players, Charlotte Centervall, Linda Ström and Frida Öhrn.
They’ve been playing together since 2003.
It all began in a basement in the south of Stockholm city where they did their first gig.
They invited their family and friends to a concert they did just for fun. But the response and the feeling they got during the concert was overwhelming.
Something happens when three characteristic voices finds harmony without compromising with the personal expression.
That’s the thing with CnB, they lift up and strengthen each other.
Since the concert in the basement everything happened very fast, and by now they have done over 200 concerts.
They’ve been playing at all the big country festivals in Scandinavia. Since two years back they’ve had their own country club in the heart of Stockholm.
And in summer 2008 they’re planning on a small tour around Europe.
CnB sings country music with heart and soul.
It has happened more than once that they’ve made grown up men cry like babies.
They love to sing heartbreaking country ballades, but that’s not all.
CnB also delivers rhythmic, raw, intense, burning country music.
Their act is totally captivating!
Their influences are the brilliant Dolly Parton, Lucinda Williams, Gram Parson, Emmy-Lou Harris, Dixie Chicks and many more.
In mars 2007 they recorded their first album, “Tales from a trailer trash soul”.
It contains CnB favourite country songs.

Klubben Hillbilly & Bluegrass Nights lämnar tillfälligt Mosebacke för att föra akustiskt oväsen, gratis som fan, vid Zinken. Men det är fortfarande högklassig old time bluegrass och kickass hillbilly som gäller.
Femmannabandet *Little Green* från Göteborg spelar akustisk americana som kännetecknas av influenser från blues och bluegrass, ett melankoliskt anslag och bristande respekt för genregränser. Om man hyser något sorts intresse för musik som drar åt countryhållet får man inte missa detta tillfälle att se ett av landets just nu intressantaste band! Deras album "Crossing lanes" kommer ut vilken dag som helst på Rootsys skivlabel. Releasekonsert lör 8 nov på Musikvalvet Baggen, Svartmangatan 27 i Gamla stan kl 19.00.
*Rachel Eddy* är uppväxt vid en grusväg mellan två bergstoppar i West Virginia. Hon arbetar hårt för att sprida den traditionella musiken som är hennes rötter i Nashville dit hon flyttat. Nu är hon I Sverige för att ge oss the real McCoy. Rachel har spelat fiol och banjo i Morgantown Rounders, Woodticks och Stewed Mulligan. Hon har delat scen med stora musiker som Liz Carroll och John Doyle, Tony Trishka och Hackensaw Boys. På hennes CD som släpptes i augusti medverkar storheter som Tim O'Brien, Russ Barenburg, Mark Schatz och Brent Truitt.
*Rockridge Brothers* har glädjen att kompa Rachel på en handfull låtar, men spelar också ett set själva. Har du inte hört sveriges bästa hillbillyband tidagare är det dags att göra det. Spänn fast dig eller ta på dig dansskorna. Old time bluegrass och mountain music med frenesi och kärlek.
